Dr Pavel con su Paciente

Jose Ramirez (January 31, 2022)

Since  the moment I left the surgery I thought and saw that it was an excellent operation. I had cataract surgery on both eyes. The team is very friendly and human, they always helped me with my conditions. Through his hands God helped me. Here we will continue as customers for their good attention and for their humane staff.

COSTS
& QUERY

First time - $800.00 pesos.

Let's start by knowing your visual capacity with an eye exam that will guide the specialist towards the cause of your reason for consultation, later, we will take photographs of the front part of your eyes, to show you your look under the microscope.

Remember to go accompanied (only a responsible adult) because we can use eye drops that can make your vision blur (an effect that lasts about 4 hours) to carry out a more in-depth examination and see that everything is in order on your retina.

This consultation also includes Goldman tonometry or commonly called ocular pressure.

Subsequent - $600.00 pesos.

Patients in visual rehabilitation, infection control, ulcers, ocular allergy, glaucoma, follow-up for laser photocoagulation treatment, retinopathy or macular degeneration, among others, require periodic follow-up.

Diabetes - $300.00 pesos.

Diabetes is a chronic disease that threatens vision through different mechanisms, producing cataracts, secondary glaucoma, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment and lesions in the macula, the center of vision. Every patient with diabetes even without symptoms, should be checked once a year under pupillary dilation, for this remember to come accompanied by a responsible adult.

Second opinion - $400 pesos.

If you already have a written diagnosis, and you require a procedure or surgery, the evaluation for a second opinion includes the evaluation of a complete consultation

SERVICES
& STUDIES

OCT, Optical Coherence Tomography

The ideal study to evaluate the center of vision allows us to evaluate the retina, in its most important portion. It is useful for macular edema due to diabetes, venous occlusions or infarcts, macroaneurysms, retinal traction and detachment diseases, central serous chorioretinopathy, macular hole and macular membranes, among others.

Eye ultrasound.

B mode ultrasound is indicated when the structures are opaque and we cannot see your eye inside. I performe it in cataracts or opaque corneas, to establish a prognosis based on indirect visualization of intraocular structures. One of its functions is A mode  ultrasound, which allows us to measure the length of intraocular structures, finding its application in the calculation of intraocular lens for cataract surgery.

YAG laser.

Useful in the case of cleaning the bag where the intraocular lens is placed and recovering the sharpness of the colors that could be lost  in patients who have been a few years since their cataract surgery.

Another of its applications is in patients with small eyes who are at risk of a particular type of glaucoma, primary angle closure due to narrow angles. After a thorough consultation assessment, if you are a candidate for this procedure, you should know that it is an outpatient procedure and prevents cases of deep blindness.

Diode laser.

Laser photocoagulation has revolutioned retina´s approachment, both preventive for retinal detachment, and early intervention in cases of retinopathy due to diabetes to limit the progression of damage due to bleeding.
